How to get to the Opera Garnier?
It's very centrally located, so you won't have any problems getting there. The Opera Garnier is located on the corner of Scribe and Auber streets, on Pl. de l'Opéra. You can get there by the following means of transport:
- Bus: 20, 21, 22, 27, 27, 29, 29, 42, 52, 53, 66, 68, 81, 95.
- Metro: Opera station, with lines 3, 7 and 8. If you are on line 9, we recommend you get off at Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette station.
- RER: Auber station (RER A)
- Parking: you can park your car at the Meyerbeer Opera car park, located at 3 Rue de la Chaussée d'Antin, or at the Indigo Haussmann Galeries La Fayette car park, 48 Boulevard Haussmann.
Free & reduced-price tickets
The Opera Garnier offers special rates for certain people. To obtain these tickets, please inquire at the Opera Garnier ticket office, and bring your ID.
Children under 12 years of age have free admission and students between 12 and 25 years of age, family tickets, or other discounts associated with other promotions or cards, correspond to the reduced prices.
Opening hours
The Palais de l'Opéra Garnier is open from 10 am to 4 pm (10 am to 5 pm from mid-July to the end of August), except for exceptional closures. The monument closes one hour later.
Due to the nature of theatrical activities, the auditorium is often inaccessible to visitors. Additionally, on rare occasions, other areas of the tour may also be closed.
